Disability supports
Two layers work together: a yearly grant for students with a recognized disability, plus separate funding for the services and equipment that make studying possible.
The key routes
- Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities — $2,800/year (2026-27) for eligible students.
- Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment — up to $20,000/year for approved disability-related education services and equipment.
- Bursary for Students with Disabilities (Ontario) — coordinated through your school's financial-aid/accessibility office; plan it together with the federal grant to avoid double counting.
- Out-of-country bursary for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students attending approved ASL/LSQ programs.
How to start
- Apply through OSAP and indicate a disability.
- Talk to your school's accessibility office — they know the documentation requirements and coordinate provincial + federal support.
We never ask for a diagnosis — matching uses only your choice to see these supports. Documentation goes to the official application, not to us.
